Edmond M. Franklin, DDS, FICOI
Dr. Franklin was born in Augusta, Georgia where he attended Aquinas High School and graduated in 1988. After graduating, he moved to Atlanta and matriculated through Morehouse College where he majored in Banking and Finance. After working for 7 years in corporate America, Dr. Franklin decided it was time for a change. Shoring up his resources and completing his core competencies ensuingly, he applied to Howard University and was accepted in 2004. Dr. Franklin graduated from Howard University in 2008 and was accepted to a general practice residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington D.C. where he further honed his skills as a general dentist. Upon completion of his residency in May of 2009, he returned to Atlanta to enter into private practice as an associate. In December of 2010, Dr. Franklin received his Masters in Business Administration from Regis University and decided it was time to step out on his own. Finally, on January 17th, 2011, Dr. Franklin opened Vivid Smile Dental Center where he strives to deliver uncompromising and outstanding service to each and every one of his patients.
Dr. Franklin continues to enhance and advance his education in all aspects of the dental field on a yearly basis and is a firm believer that education is the key to the successful delivery of dental excellence. To that end, Dr. Franklin has completed the Implantology Maxi Course through the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. As well, in 2015, he received his Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
He continually furthers his education through various courses in an effort to bring valuable and current information back to his practices.
Lisa Gillis

Lisa is a native of Georgia and graduated from Clayton State University in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene. She has experience in both general and pediatric dentistry. Lisa thrives in dentistry because of her unfailing passion to make a difference and help others. She is a true educator and loves the connections she makes with her patients.
Camille Dunbar
Camille graduated in 2023 from Clayton State University with her Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene. Camille's friendliness helps her make great connections with everyone. She loves educating patients to prevent oral disease and promote healthy behaviors.
Sugey Delgadillo
Sugey started her career as a dental assistant in pediatrics, but it was her childhood dental hygienist who forged great experiences that she couldn't forget. Those fond memories encouraged her desire to become a hygienist. She is proud to be a hygienist of Hispanic descent because it allows her to be a voice for people who typically do not see a dentist due to the language barrier. She has a warm and attentive nature with her patients. Outside of dentistry, Sugey loves the Atlanta Braves and is an Atlanta United fan. She enjoys going to new places, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.
Amarellys Knight
Lead Dental Assistant, EFDA
Amarellys had a nursing career prior to finding dentistry. Since becoming a dental assistant, she is known for her soothing nature. She loves developing relationships with patients and learning something about each of them. Restoring oral health and transforming the lives of patients is why she is in dentistry. She consistently delivers knowledge and skills to help guide others. Her philosophy in life is "Anything is possible with God."
Daniela Aboytes

Daniela has been a dental assistant since high school. After falling in love with the profession, she decided to pursue dental hygiene. She is currently enrolled in a Dental Hygiene Program and cannot wait to add that to her list of accomplishments. Her dental philosophy is much like her philosophy about life, "never quit, never quit going to the dentist, and never quit on anything in life."

Yahaira began with us in 2022 while completing an externship for college. Lucky us, she decided to stay after graduating college. Achieving patient satisfaction is her goal. She likes to see our patients leave with a smile!

Cindy loves dentistry because there is never a dull moment, and she's been in it long enough to know! Her dental career started in 1993 and she has dedicated 13 of those years to Vivid Smile Dental Center. Cindy has an incredible way of connecting with people and has an ability to help people face their fear of the dentist.
